Executive Chef – Lead Culinary Vision

About the role

We are seeking an innovative, commercially‑minded and people‑focused Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision of Rivo Gold Coast and establish it as one of the Gold Coast’s most exciting new dining destinations. You will shape Rivo from the ground up, developing its culinary identity, building its reputation and leading the team that brings the restaurant to life.

Key responsibilities

• Create a destination dining experience by designing innovative menus and food concepts that attract locals and travellers.
• Oversee all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, presentation and compliance with food safety standards.
• Lead, coach and mentor a passionate culinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
• Manage food costs, labour expenses, purchasing, inventory and budgets to deliver strong financial results while maintaining guest experience.

Required profile

• Experienced Executive Chef or senior culinary leader with a strong restaurant and lifestyle hospitality background.
• Proven success in menu development, team leadership and culinary innovation.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance creativity and financial performance.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
