Everyday Banking Banker – Customer Service

About the role

Join ANZ’s Everyday Banking team in Melbourne and help customers with a wide range of retail, card and digital banking needs. You will work on a rotating roster, providing phone‑based support during extended business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Assist 30‑40 customers per day via phone, addressing enquiries on accounts, cards, fraud, disputes and digital self‑service.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, lost or stolen cards, and other banking problems.
• Meet customer‑centric, financial and risk targets while maintaining high service standards.
• Continuously develop banking knowledge through formal training and mentorship.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus and a genuine desire to help individuals.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.
• Clear communication skills and ability to handle multiple enquiries efficiently.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with digital banking platforms and standard office software.
