Event Coordinator

About the role
Jawun is seeking an Event Coordinator to support its purpose‑driven programmes across Indigenous communities. Based in the Sydney CBD office with a hybrid schedule, you will manage the administrative and logistical aspects of secondments and executive visits.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange travel and accommodation for secondees and guests.
- Track programme budgets and expenditures.
- Coordinate payment of invoices to suppliers and issue invoices to corporate partners after events.
- Maintain accurate data in the CRM system.
- Update core programme materials and artefacts.
- Distribute surveys, collect responses, and contribute to reporting.
Required profile
- Proven experience in event or programme coordination.
- Meticulous organisational, prioritising and time‑management abilities.
- Comfortable solving problems and adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
- Confident engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Motivated, proactive, collaborative and committed to Indigenous rights.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Salesforce (preferred).
- Familiarity with Canva (preferred).
- Knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software (preferred).
What we offer
- Salary $90,000‑$95,000 per annum inclusive of superannuation.
