Environment Health & Safety Manager

About the role

Join Kraft Heinz as an Environment Health & Safety Manager at the Northgate manufacturing and distribution site. You will own site‑wide EHS performance and drive continuous improvement across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Own site‑wide Health & Safety performance, reporting results to site leadership.
• Lead the EHS management system, ensuring consistent, practical controls.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant EHS legislation, standards and internal requirements.
• Identify, assess and prioritize risks, delivering risk‑reduction plans.
• Plan and deliver internal and external EHS audits, track corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Monitor EHS performance indicators and provide insights to leaders.
• Lead emergency preparedness, drills and continuous improvement of site readiness.

Required profile

• Proven EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and regulator expectations.
• Ability to assess risk, set priorities and implement practical controls.
• Hands‑on experience planning and delivering EHS audits and corrective actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in Australia with full working rights.
