About the role
A mining and resource company, Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal, is recruiting an entry-level dump truck operator through WorkPac. The candidate will undergo full training to become a Hot Seat Dump Truck Operator on a busy mine site in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. The position is open only to local candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Operate electric dump trucks on a busy mine site after completing full training.
- Work 8-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day shift roster.
Required profile
- Reside in the Banana Shire, as camp and meals are not provided.
- Hold a Standard 11 and Coal Board medical, or be willing to obtain it.
- Current driver's licence and right to work in Australia.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
