Enterprise Risk: Policy Governance (12 months fixed term)

About the role

ING Australia is seeking expressions of interest from experienced enterprise risk professionals for an immediate 12-month fixed-term position in its Enterprise Risk team in Sydney. Working closely with senior leaders, policy owners and stakeholders, you will advise on and maintain the corporate policy governance framework, known as 'Policy House', across retail and wholesale banking.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve ING's corporate documentation and policy governance framework.
• Coordinate policy reviews and approvals, keeping documents current, compliant and fit for purpose.
• Partner with policy owners and stakeholders to develop high-quality policies, standards and governance documentation.
• Advise on policy governance requirements and support adherence to regulatory obligations.
• Support governance forums, risk initiatives and projects, and escalate policy-related risks where required.

Required profile

• Experience in risk, compliance, governance, legal, audit or regulatory functions within financial services.
• Experience in policy writing, review or document governance, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of the banking regulatory environment and governance best practice.
• Stakeholder management experience, including with senior leaders and governance committees.
• Analytical capability, attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex information.
