About the role

Join the General Medical Unit at Armidale Hospital as an Enrolled Nurse, delivering safe, compassionate and evidence‑based care to patients with acute and complex medical conditions. Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients across a range of specialties, including General Medicine, Stroke, Rehabilitation, Palliative and Cardiac Telemetry.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Document care accurately and maintain patient records in line with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Support patients and families with education and emotional assistance.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Experience in acute care or a strong willingness to develop skills in this area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for nursing.
