About the role

St Mary MacKillop College, Canberra's largest secondary school, is seeking a highly effective and passionate English Teacher. The college operates two campuses: Years 7 to 9 at the Padua Campus in Wanniassa and Years 10 to 12 at the St Peter's Campus in Isabella Plains. It is part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited, which includes 56 Catholic schools and nine Early Learning Centres. The start date is Monday, 25 January 2027.

Required profile

• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Bachelor of Teaching/Education or Master of Teaching
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
• Accreditation under Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy

• Salary of $92,882 to $141,638 full-time equivalent plus superannuation, set by years of teaching service
