About the role
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our new high‑tech beverage manufacturing plant in Ipswich. In this hands‑on position you will ensure the plant’s equipment runs at peak performance, supporting a range of iconic brands produced at the Swanbank facility.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive equipment reliability and overall performance.
- Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on plant machinery.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults and breakdowns.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement and reliability projects.
Required profile
- Trade‑qualified Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Technician.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or other industrial environments.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous‑improvement practices (highly regarded).
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
