End User Support Technician (Field Desktop)

About the role

Qantas is hiring three End User Support Technicians to provide on‑site desktop and field support across Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide airports. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, delivering hardware, software and networking assistance to keep airport operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues, including Windows 11, Office 365, AD, SCCM, Citrix and basic networking.
• Provide desk‑side and kiosk support, and assist with specialised airport equipment such as bag‑drop conveyors.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior teams and support the Service Desk with enhanced incident handling.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles and documentation for the support team.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation and travel between sites as required.

Required profile

• Proactive, self‑motivated and curious with a strong customer‑service focus.
• Ability to work independently on‑site, five days a week, with on‑call duties.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (expenses reimbursed).
• Willingness to learn and grow technical skills in an aviation environment.
