Employee Relations Representative – FIFO (2:1)

About the role

The Employee Relations Representative will monitor daily work practices on the Eva Copper Mine EPC project in Cloncurry, Queensland. The role advises supervisors on labour issues, supports staffing plans and wage trend analysis, and helps develop craft training and orientation programmes to foster positive workplace relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and report on field work practices, identifying current or potential labour problems.
• Assist in the preparation of staffing plans, wage trend studies and training programmes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant labour legislation, health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Develop and maintain employee‑relations and communication systems for an industrial construction site.
• Work on a 2:1 FIFO roster, travelling to and from the Cloncurry site as required.

Required profile

• Experience in employee or industrial relations within a construction or mining environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian labour laws and workplace health and safety standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse workforce and management teams.
• Willingness to work a FIFO schedule (2 days on, 1 day off).
