About the role
The Employee Relations Advisor will deliver high‑quality administrative, research, reporting and advisory services to support the Employee Relations function of Power and Water. This role helps build a values‑aligned, psychologically safe and legally compliant workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for employee relations cases, including documentation, tracking and follow‑up.
- Conduct research and analysis on workplace policies, legislation and best practices.
- Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management.
- Advise managers and staff on employee relations issues, ensuring consistent application of policies.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training and communication initiatives related to employee relations.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in human resources or employee relations, preferably within a corporate or public‑sector environment.
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and workplace health and safety standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Required skills
- Research and analytical capabilities.
- Report writing and data presentation.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
