Emergency Medicine Registrar (Year 2/3) – Perth

About the role

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Registrar (Year 2/3) to join a high‑volume, ACEM‑accredited Emergency Department in Perth, WA. The role offers rotating shifts in a modern, multidisciplinary environment with strong supervision and teaching support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide acute care to adult and paediatric patients in a busy ED handling ~62,000 presentations annually.
• Participate in the dedicated paediatric assessment and treatment area and the minor injury/illness zone.
• Perform procedural sedation in the designated procedure room.
• Collaborate with onsite radiology, pathology and inpatient specialty teams for patient management.
• Engage in teaching sessions and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• General or provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Prior experience working in an Emergency Department.
• Commitment to team‑based care, ongoing learning and relocation to Perth (relocation assistance available).
