Electrician & Refrigeration Mechanic (FIFO 2:1) – WEIPA

About the role

You will join Sodexo's facility maintenance trades team, focusing on preventive and maintenance repairs across a mining camp village. The role suits candidates with domestic and commercial experience who can work safely and deliver high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and refrigeration systems throughout the camp.
• Service a variety of assets including commercial chillers, reefers, and accommodation facilities.

Required profile

• Background in domestic or commercial electrical and refrigeration maintenance.
• Experience in a maintenance environment such as a mining camp, school, hospital or similar.
• Team player with a can‑do attitude, flexible and safety‑focused.

Required skills

• QLD Electrician’s License (Unrestricted)
• HVAC licence – QBCCLVR Certification
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• QLD Manual Driver’s License
• Working at heights (within 2 years)
• High Risk License (EWP)
• Construction Industry White Card
• Experience with commercial chillers / reefers
