Electrical Field Service Engineer

About the role

Delta Electronics Australia is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join its Sydney team. You will work on cutting‑edge data‑centre and telecommunication projects, providing on‑site installation, commissioning, and support for electrical and modular power solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission electrical equipment, with secondary focus on mechanical cooling and modular containerised power solutions.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment both on‑site and remotely via phone, email and support consoles.
• Provide remote technical support and update work orders, daily diaries, photos, logs and other documentation.
• Submit service reports, commissioning reports and failure analysis to customers.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as required by roster.
• Adhere to HSE&Q requirements and promote a safe working environment.
• Maintain Delta tools, vehicles and other assets.
• Lead process and quality improvements, mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve high satisfaction.

Required profile

• Electrical Trade License qualified in Australia.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Senior‑level experience in field service or similar roles.
• Proven ability to work safely and lead by example.
• Strong communication skills and customer‑focused attitude.
