Educational Leader - Springfield Lakes

About the role

Busy Bees, a global early learning provider with over 130 centres in Australia, is seeking an experienced Educational Leader for its Springfield Lakes centre (1 Springfield Lakes Boulevard, Springfield Lakes QLD 4300). The role is full-time and focuses on mentoring educators, driving quality practice, supporting curriculum development and leading continuous improvement. The advertised pay is $41.72-$43.08 per hour plus an educational leader allowance.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach educators to strengthen teaching practice and program quality
• Guide implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) across the centre
• Support educators with curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice
• Drive continuous improvement aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF)
• Lead professional discussions and learning opportunities for the team
• Work closely with the Centre Director to support quality outcomes for children

Required profile

• Genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Approved Early Childhood qualification (or working towards it)
• Experience mentoring or supporting educators to deliver high-quality programs
• Current Working with Children Check for QLD

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
• Confidence in curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice
