Educational Leader - Heathmont (Opening October 2026)

About the role

Story House Early Learning is looking for a Diploma-qualified (minimum) Educational Leader to join its brand-new Heathmont service, opening in October 2026. The role is a dedicated float leadership position across the service's 6 rooms, and the candidate must come from within the Story House network. Shortlisted candidates are invited to an internal interview process with the leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Work within the STRONG Beginnings Curriculum and support the embedding of exceeding themes
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated Pedagogical Practice Partner to drive quality practice
• Influence pedagogy, mentor educators and elevate outcomes across the service
• Contribute to safe, inclusive and engaging environments for children, families and teams

Required profile

• Diploma qualification (minimum)
• Experience as an Educational Leader within the Story House network
• Commitment to child safety, inclusion and respectful relationships with children and families; all applicants undergo child safety screening, including Working with Children Checks and reference checks
