Education Assistant – Special Needs

About the role

Coodanup College is seeking a dedicated Education Assistant to support students with special needs. You will work closely with teachers and allied health professionals to deliver tailored educational programs and ensure each learner receives the best possible support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of specialised programs such as occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver planned lessons, incorporating computers and digital technologies.
• Implement individual or small‑group educational activities and displays.
• Provide feedback on education and therapy programmes and contribute to their evaluation.

Required profile

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid work visa.
• Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check and a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check before starting.
• Passion for supporting students with special needs and ability to work in a collaborative, team‑based environment.
