About the role
Mother Teresa Catholic College is looking for an Education Assistant for its junior school. The main role is to support students in accessing the curriculum in mainstream classes, helping teachers deliver planned education programs and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Certificate III or higher in Education Support
- Eligibility to obtain a current National Police History Check and a Working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
Required skills
- Good verbal and written communication, able to liaise with students, teachers, parents and support staff
- Excellent information technology skills
- Discretion with confidential or sensitive matters and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work within an inclusive school environment
