Earthworks Superintendent - FIFO NT

About the role

Exact Contracting is recruiting an Earthworks Superintendent for a key project leadership role in remote Northern Territory. You will help deliver road construction, civil, water infrastructure, agricultural and mining projects, keeping activities safe, on budget and on schedule. The successful candidate works a FIFO roster of 14 days on, 7 days off.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong safety culture
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity and schedule achievement
• Provide hands-on guidance and feedback to teams and individuals
• Keep to the project schedule of activities
• Ensure contractual and KPI requirements are understood, delivered and reported
• Liaise with the Project Leadership Team to meet objectives
• Develop initiatives that improve efficiency, quality and resource use

Required profile

• Extensive earthworks experience in a similar role
• Cert IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent)
• S1, S2, S3 qualification (desirable)
• Current driver's licence (essential)
• Ability to plan, prioritise, communicate well and manage others
