Early Learning Centre Teacher

About the role

Join St Anthony’s Early Learning Centre to deliver high‑quality, play‑based education for children in the year before formal schooling. You will work within a supportive Catholic community, fostering curiosity, creativity and a love of learning while building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement a play‑based curriculum that aligns with Catholic Education mission and ACECQA standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children feel valued and motivated to explore.
• Develop strong partnerships with families, communicating children’s progress and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to share best practices and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records, attend staff meetings and contribute to centre policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA‑approved qualification.
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

• Competitive salary range $82,796 – $136,848 + superannuation, based on experience.
