Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

Busy Bees, a global early learning provider with over 130 centres across Australia, is seeking a passionate, dedicated Early Childhood Teacher for its centre at Pimpama (2a Guara Grove, Pimpama QLD 4209). The position is full-time, paid $48.09-$66.55 per hour, and plays a key role in planning and delivering high-quality educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child's development
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with educators to maintain a positive, reflective team culture
• Help the service meet and exceed the National Quality Framework (NQF)
• Contribute to curriculum planning, observations and documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher in Australia is highly regarded
• Current Working with Children Check for QLD
• Genuine passion for child-led learning and ongoing professional growth

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Ability to plan, observe and document children's learning
