Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

St Paul’s School is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join its Early Learning Centre. This full‑time position will shape the early learning experience of young students through learner‑centred, safe, and supportive teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, learner‑centred environment aligned with curriculum, policies and practices.
• Plan, implement and review learning programs effectively.
• Maintain professional standards as defined by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Manage students in the classroom and wider school community.
• Uphold the school’s Christian values and ethos.

Required profile

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration as an Early Childhood Teacher with ACECQA.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) curriculum.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and ability to support achieving an Exceeding rating.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families and colleagues.
