E190 Training & Checking Captain – Perth

About the role

We are seeking an experienced E190 pilot to join Network Aviation’s Flight Training and Checking team in Perth. The role involves delivering high‑quality training, conducting line checks and providing simulator instruction as we introduce the Embraer E190 into our fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Training Captain, Check Captain and/or Simulator Instructor for the E190 fleet.
• Develop and deliver training programmes and line‑check assessments for pilots.
• Maintain and enhance the safety culture by ensuring compliance with operational standards.
• Support the pilot community and contribute to continuous improvement of training processes.

Required profile

• ERJ170/190 type rating with command experience on the type.
• Minimum 4,000 total flight hours.
• Previous training or checking experience on multi‑crew transport‑category jet aircraft.
• Australian ATPL (A) and current CASA Class 1 medical.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6.
• Ability to pass Qantas pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol test and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card.
• Australian citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Australia/New Zealand and a passport valid for at least 12 months.
