Dry Fire Technician - Perth

About the role

A leading national provider of mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic and general maintenance services is hiring an experienced Dry Fire Technician for its Perth team. You will inspect, test, maintain and repair dry fire systems across a portfolio of commercial sites in the Perth metro area, keeping them compliant and reliable. The role is permanent and full-time, Monday to Friday, with home every night and weekends free.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair dry fire systems
• Carry out routine inspections and testing in line with AS1851
• Fault-find and troubleshoot fire indicator panels and fire system issues
• Maintain portable fire equipment and emergency and exit lighting
• Complete accurate digital service reports on mobile devices
• Advise clients clearly and professionally on site
• Work safely in line with OH&S requirements

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Dry Fire Technician in the commercial sector
• Strong knowledge of fire indicator panels, portable fire equipment and emergency and exit lighting
• Sound understanding of AS1851
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Full Australian working rights, National Police Clearance (within 12 months or willing to obtain), Working With Children Check and pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening

• $50-$60 per hour plus super, depending on experience
• Minimum 40-hour week with optional overtime, paid on top with weekend penalty rates
