Driving Instructor

About the role

Join NRMA as a full‑time, permanent Driving Instructor and help improve road safety in your community. You will deliver lessons based on the NRMA Driver Training Curriculum and have opportunities to expand into the NSW Safer Drivers Course, Older Driver Assessment and corporate training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored driving lessons to learner drivers, following the NRMA curriculum.
• Maintain accurate diaries, manage schedules and ensure guaranteed 38 hours per week.
• Deliver additional training modules such as Safer Drivers and corporate driver programs as you become qualified.

Required profile

• Valid NSW Driving Instructor Licence and NSW C class driver’s licence.
• Willingness to obtain TfNSW Safer Drivers Course accreditation and later Older Driver Assessment qualifications.
• Valid Working with Children’s Check.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of NSW road rules and regulations.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective diary management and ability to adapt to varied learner needs.
