Driver / Store Worker - Toys 'n' Tucker

About the role

Anglicare Sydney is recruiting a Driver / Store Worker for its Toys 'n' Tucker program, based at the Minchinbury facility. During the Christmas season, the team collects, sorts and distributes donated food, toys and gifts to families in need. You will help ensure these donations reach their recipients efficiently, working both independently and with a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and transport donated food, toys and other goods to support the Toys 'n' Tucker program
• Assist with sorting, organising and preparing donations for distribution to families in need
• Load, unload and handle donated goods safely and efficiently
• Support warehouse and distribution activities so donations are processed and delivered on time
• Work with colleagues and volunteers in a safe, organised and positive environment

Required profile

• Current NSW Class C driver licence with a good driving record
• Physical ability to carry out the manual handling and operational requirements of the role
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable, practical, hands-on and physically active, with a positive attitude and compassionate approach
