About the role
Thiess is looking for experienced Dozer Operators to join its Lake Vermont mining site, supporting autonomous dozer operations and rehabilitation works. The role offers a stable career in a safety‑focused environment with opportunities for upskilling and long‑term security.
Key responsibilities
- Operate D11 dozers, including Fusion systems, in a production mining environment.
- Perform rehabilitation works and dozer push operations.
- Utilise Cat Terrain and other fleet‑management/autonomous systems.
- Work alongside or directly with autonomous dozer technology.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months experience operating dozers in a production mining setting.
- Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation works and push operations.
- SSE‑signed competency transcript.
- Current open driver’s licence and a valid Standard 11 Certificate.
- Commitment to a positive safety culture.
Required skills
- Operation of D11 dozers with Fusion systems.
- Use of Cat Terrain fleet‑management software.
- Experience with autonomous dozer technology.
