Domestic Assistant - Albany and surrounds

About the role

Silverchain is recruiting experienced Domestic Assistants to join its team in Albany on a casual basis. The role supports clients to stay independent through domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. It involves travelling between clients' homes and follows a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app. Applicants must live in one of the listed suburbs around Albany.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support that promotes client independence.
• Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
• Provide social support and help clients stay engaged in their community.
• Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients' homes.
• Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently.

Required profile

• 3-6 months of domestic or industrial cleaning experience.
• A valid driver's licence and unrestricted access to a registered, properly insured and in good condition vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
