About the role

At Aurecon, the Director of Winning Work leads a dedicated team that shapes how the firm positions and secures high‑value projects across the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic bid management, proposal development and digital innovation to drive winning outcomes for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Aurecon’s Winning Work function, overseeing pre‑bid work, proposal and bid management, and bid visual design.
• Partner with business leaders to develop win strategies, messaging and submission structures aligned with client drivers and market positioning.
• Manage a geographically dispersed team across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, ensuring focus on priority opportunities.
• Drive adoption of digital, data and AI‑enabled solutions to improve efficiency and pursuit outcomes.
• Develop repeatable bidding frameworks and best‑practice processes to enhance team performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven executive leadership with ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and track record of translating market opportunities into measurable results.
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams in a professional services environment.
• Demonstrated success improving conversion outcomes and leading complex business‑development or pursuit functions.
• Forward‑thinking approach to applying digital, data and AI solutions for competitive advantage.
