Director of Sales – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, commercially minded Sales Leader with construction‑tech experience to join Timescapes as Director of Sales for Australia & New Zealand. Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, you will shape the sales strategy, win cornerstone customers and lead a lean team as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously refine a sales strategy tailored to the ANZ construction market, aligned with company revenue targets.
• Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends and competitive dynamics.
• Set clear sales objectives, KPIs and metrics; collaborate with senior leadership on forecasts, budgets and resource allocation.
• Lead a team of 7 Account Executives (2 in NZ, 5 in AU) to meet and exceed aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Drive new‑business acquisition through prospecting, lead generation and pipeline management; actively sell and close deals both in‑person and virtually.
• Build and nurture relationships with key accounts to maximise expansion opportunities.
• Analyse existing sales processes, identify inefficiencies and introduce lightweight tools and reporting to improve productivity.
• Coach, hire and develop top sales talent, fostering a culture of accountability and results.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the Australian and New Zealand construction market.
• Proven track record of creating and optimising sales processes and scaling high‑performing sales teams at an early‑stage growth phase.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities; comfortable hiring and developing sales talent.
• High energy, urgency and the ability to drive results without over‑complicating processes.
