Director, Global Security APAC & China

About the role

The Director, Global Security APAC & China provides senior leadership for security strategy, operations and risk management across the Asia‑Pacific region, including China. Reporting to global security leadership, the role protects employees, assets, products and information while supporting business growth in complex markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the APAC and China security strategy in line with global objectives and business priorities.
• Oversee physical security, travel security, crisis management and incident response across all APAC sites.
• Assess and mitigate regional security risks, including geopolitical, operational and site‑specific threats.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders to ensure a safe and secure operating environment.
• Provide intelligence support and develop risk‑based security plans.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in security strategy and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage security operations across multiple APAC markets.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical and operational security challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
