Director, Games Infrastructure Policy

About the role
As Director of Games Infrastructure Policy you will lead the strategic policy and legislative agenda for Queensland’s 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games legacy. Reporting to senior leaders, you will shape policy, provide high‑level advice and ensure infrastructure programmes align with government priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and oversee strategic policy and legislation supporting major games‑related infrastructure projects.
- Provide expert advice to senior executives and government decision‑makers.
- Negotiate and manage infrastructure agreements and legislative instruments.
- Lead complex stakeholder engagement and negotiation processes across government agencies and external partners.
- Prepare high‑quality briefings, reports and submissions to support executive decision‑making.
- Coordinate project administration, scheduling, reporting and governance for infrastructure initiatives.
- Deliver business support services including human resources, finance, procurement, travel and records management.
- Assist project managers with analysis, monitoring and reporting requirements.
- Ensure governance, accountability and documentation processes are adhered to.
