Director, Employment Tax

About the role

EY is seeking a Director for its Employment Tax practice to lead national engagements, deepen client relationships and shape the future of the practice across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities, lead proposals and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Provide senior technical direction, review and sign off complex advice, and manage the commercial success and risk of engagements.
• Inspire, coach and develop high‑performing teams, fostering an inclusive culture.
• Drive adoption of technology, automation and data insights to create scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to originate and win new work and maintain a sustainable pipeline.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in scoping, pricing and managing large engagements.
• Deep knowledge of Australian employment tax and ability to provide senior technical direction.
• Demonstrated leadership, influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating across service lines.
