Director / Associate Director, Research & Analysis

About the role

As a Research & Analysis specialist within ANZ’s Corporate segment, you will support a portfolio of large corporate clients across diverse industries. Working closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Executives, you will deliver in‑depth credit analysis, portfolio insights and risk assessments to guide lending decisions and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sound credit assessments, risk evaluations and mitigation strategies for corporate clients.
• Develop and execute strategies for new transactions, deteriorating credits and complex deal structuring.
• Provide delegated credit authority and lead proactive account management.
• Engage in credit workshops with Relationship, Product and Risk teams to determine risk appetite and deal structures.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, processes and external regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong credit background with ability to structure complex financing arrangements.
• Demonstrated financial analysis capability beyond traditional accounting.
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Economics.
• People leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and coaching team members.
