Diamond Driller - Large Diameter & Directional Drilling

About the role

DDH1 Drilling, part of the Perenti Group, is recruiting experienced Drillers and Offsiders for its engineering drilling division in Western Australia. The role involves safely operating drilling equipment and supporting specialised drilling programs, with flexible FIFO rosters available from any major Australian city.

Key responsibilities

• Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure compliance with company and site safety requirements
• Perform drilling activities to client specifications
• Assist with equipment maintenance and servicing
• Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace conduct

Required profile

• Previous large diameter, directional or air drilling experience
• Current HR licence or above
• Current First Aid certificate
• National police clearance
• Commitment to safety and teamwork, and ability to work in remote FIFO environments
• Desirable: dogging, front end loader, telehandler and other relevant work licences

Required skills

• Large diameter, mud rotary and air hammer drilling
• Directional drilling
• Experience operating WEI and Foremost rigs highly regarded
