DevOps‑Focused Systems Administrator (Azure, PowerShell)

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator with a strong DevOps focus to join our Brisbane office. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves building and maintaining Microsoft‑centric cloud solutions for AI‑driven projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect Azure cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Manage Active Directory/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS and Windows OS services.
• Automate tasks and processes with PowerShell scripting.
• Support and monitor Microsoft 365, Office Suite, Hyper‑V and Microsoft DPM (optional).
• Implement disaster‑recovery and monitoring strategies.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of IT experience and a relevant degree.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for baseline security clearance.
• Proactive mindset with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain Microsoft certifications if not already held.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (architecting, ARM, Bicep).
• CI/CD tools: Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Active Directory / Entra ID.
• DNS, DHCP, RADIUS.
• Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Hyper‑V (bonus) and Microsoft DPM (bonus).
