DevOps Engineer – NV1 Clearance – Melbourne/Canberra (Hybrid)

About the role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support a high‑impact government environment on a 6‑month contract, with strong potential for extension. The role is hybrid, based in Melbourne or Canberra, and requires NV1 security clearance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Configure and manage monitoring agents such as Filebeat, Metricbeat, Auditbeat, and implement Synthetic and Real User Monitoring.
- Deploy and operate containerised workloads on OpenShift (OCP) platforms.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including provisioning and automation.
- Utilise CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab, and automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ELK and OpenShift environments.
Required profile
- NV1 security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in cloud‑native and observability projects.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a government setting.
