DevOps Engineer (Azure) – $150‑180k

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to own the reliability, scalability and security of our Azure‑based platform that powers customer‑facing applications for the automotive and insurance sectors. You will work in a small, highly motivated team, directly influencing platform performance and delivery speed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Terraform‑based infrastructure as code with a focus on repeatability and security.
• Design, build and sustain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage containerised workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and on‑premises clusters.
• Administer Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Cache for Redis, handling monitoring, backup, scaling and security.
• Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights and the ELK Stack.
• Deploy, monitor and optimise Azure Durable Functions for long‑running serverless workflows.
• Apply cloud security controls, network security groups, identity & access management and secrets management.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior level DevOps Engineer with production experience on Azure.
• Proven ability to design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Azure data services and observability tools.
