Developer - Payer Experience

About the role

MYOB is looking for a Developer to join its Embedded Finance team, which builds financial capabilities directly into MYOB products so customers can manage payments, invoicing and related money-movement workflows. You will help build and evolve payer-facing experiences across the online invoice lifecycle and payment processing, working with other developers, product managers and UX designers.

Key responsibilities

• Support payments, invoicing and related money-movement workflows
• Deliver experiences that are intuitive, secure and reliable for customers
• Improve development and DevOps practices and strengthen customer experiences
• Build hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies
• Act as the team's voice, sharing knowledge between development teams and the wider MYOB tech community

Required profile

• Strong programming skills across a variety of languages and technologies
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), containerisation with Docker and CI/CD tooling such as Buildkite
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, Agile environment and adapt quickly to changing business needs
• Dedication to delivering high-quality software regularly
• Ability to empower the team to define and achieve a technical vision

Required skills

• Java or Kotlin, NodeJS, TypeScript, React (modern) and Spring Boot
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Codex or Copilot is highly valued
