Despatch Clerk – Full Time in Salisbury

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Despatch Clerk to join our warehouse team in Salisbury. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be at the centre of daily dispatch operations, coordinating distribution activities and providing high‑level customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily distribution and delivery schedules.
• Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and administrative tasks.
• File, distribute paperwork and liaise with carriers and courier services.
• Verify transport/freight invoices, delivery dockets and complete freight documentation.
• Coordinate pro‑of‑delivery processes and monitor stationery/consumables.
• Assist with monthly stocktakes and maintain accurate despatch records.
• Process customer returns, warranty tyre returns and coordinate OE fitment stock deliveries.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Confident liaising with carriers, drivers and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not essential.
