Design and Technology Teacher (Full/Part Time)

About the role

Rossmoyne Senior High School is building a pool of Design and Technology teachers for permanent and fixed‑term positions, available full‑time or part‑time, to cover vacancies arising during the 2026 school year through Term 2 of 2027. Successful candidates will join a vibrant community focused on academic excellence and inclusive learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Design Technologies and Digital Technologies curriculum for Years 7‑12.
• Plan and implement engaging, inclusive lessons across wood, metal, engineering and digital contexts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross‑curricular projects and school initiatives.
• Use evidence‑based decision‑making to reflect on practice and improve student outcomes.
• Contribute to a positive, culturally responsive school environment.

Required profile

• Outstanding knowledge of Design Technologies and/or Digital Technologies curricula.
• Demonstrated commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: woodwork, metalwork, engineering, or lower‑school digital technology.
• Alignment with the school’s values, ethos and inclusive priorities.
