Dermal Therapy Clinical Educator / Facilitator

About the role

The Australasian College of Health and Wellness is expanding its teaching clinic in Alexandria, Sydney and seeks an experienced Dermal Therapy Clinical Educator / Facilitator. Reporting to the Head of School, you will supervise Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Clinical Aesthetics) students during their hands‑on clinical training, helping them build confidence, treatment skills and professional behaviours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on clinical supervision and practical instruction to small groups of 5–12 students.
• Observe, guide and assess student treatments, providing clear, constructive feedback.
• Promote safe practice, clinical reasoning and professional conduct.
• Maintain accurate clinical and student documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices and participate in team meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree (or higher) in Dermal Therapy, Clinical Aesthetics, Health Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years relevant clinical experience in dermal therapy or aesthetics.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to mentor diverse learners.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience teaching, training or mentoring in the dermal/aesthetics industry.

Required skills

• Manual lymphatic drainage.
• Electrical facial treatments.
• Clinical microdermabrasion and chemical peels.
• Skin needling and dermaplaning.
• Light‑based therapies (hair reduction, rejuvenation, vascular and pigmentation, tattoo removal).
• Plasma Pen application.
