Deputy Principal - Student Services

About the role

We are seeking a Deputy Principal – Student Services to join Halls Head College on a two‑month fixed‑term basis, commencing Term 3 2026. The role will support the Executive Team in delivering a safe, caring and high‑performing learning environment for our growing coastal community.

Key responsibilities

• Consult, develop and implement ideas across the college to enhance student services.
• Support the Executive in maintaining strategic direction, alignment of intent and thorough consultation.
• Lead the design and embedding of bold, strategic solutions and practical policies.
• Develop processes to manage staff performance and improve student outcomes.
• Drive change initiatives, introduce value‑adding strategies and oversee their execution.

Required profile

• Demonstrated collaborative and outstanding leadership qualities.
• Excellent interpersonal and public‑relations skills to build effective relationships.
• Proven change‑leadership, influencing and negotiation capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of student services within a secondary‑school context.
• Ability to lead in diverse educational settings and work as a team player.
