Dentist / Therapist (3 Days Per Week)

About the role

An established, modern dental clinic with a strong community reputation is looking for a confident Dentist to join its team three days per week, with room to grow to full time if desired. The role suits someone who enjoys comprehensive general dentistry, values doing dentistry properly and wants to keep improving through mentoring and case-based learning. You will work alongside other dentists and a long-standing support team, with regular clinical development built into the week.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventive care
• Composite fillings, bonding and restorative dentistry
• Crowns and bridges, including complex treatment sequencing
• Root canal therapy and pain relief dentistry
• Extractions and management of dental emergencies
• Teeth whitening, cosmetic enhancements and smile improvement options
• Clear aligners and orthodontic-style treatment planning exposure
• Implant dentistry involvement (experience welcomed; training supported)

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Dentist in Australia
• Minimum 2 years' post-graduation experience (not suitable for new graduates)
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
• Confidence in general dentistry and interest in ongoing development
• Team-focused attitude and willingness to take part in mentoring and peer review
