Dental Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist

About the role

A busy, established five-chair dental practice is looking for an experienced or motivated Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join its team. The practice focuses on preventative dentistry, teamwork and high clinical standards, and offers dental assistant support to keep the workflow smooth and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional scaling, polishing and dental hygiene treatments
• Perform comprehensive periodontal and oral health assessments
• Deliver preventative treatments, including fluoride applications
• Support patients with gum disease management and maintenance
• Educate patients on effective home-care techniques
• Identify oral health concerns and collaborate with dentists
• Perform further treatments within your registration and scope of practice

Required profile

• Recognised Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist qualification
• Current AHPRA registration
• Confidence delivering preventative and periodontal care
• Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented practice
