Dental Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist

About the role

A well-established dental practice, operating from a busy five-chair clinic, is looking for a passionate, patient-focused Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join its growing team. You will work with an established patient base, providing preventative and periodontal treatments that help patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive oral health assessments and preventative care
• Perform professional dental cleans, scaling and polishing
• Conduct periodontal assessments and manage gum disease
• Apply fluoride and other preventative treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and long-term dental health
• Work with dentists to deliver patient outcomes
• Provide additional treatments within your qualifications and scope of practice

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene or Oral Health Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine passion for preventative dentistry
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
