Dayshift Cafe Utility – Retail & Cleaning Support

About the role

Sodexo is looking for a Dayshift Cafe Utility to join the team at its headquarters in Balcatta. Working weekdays from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, you will support both the onsite cafe and the office cleaning operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and a tidy workplace for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general retail and barista duties in the onsite cafe, preparing and serving food and beverages.
• Carry out commercial office cleaning tasks, including detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and kitchen sanitation.
• Greet and assist visitors, clients, suppliers and employees, acting as the first point of contact to deliver a positive experience.
• Follow food handling and cleaning procedures, adhering to company policies and allocated timeframes.
• Respond promptly to ad‑hoc requests and urgent issues, managing time effectively throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Availability to work full‑time weekdays from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Good interpersonal skills for face‑to‑face customer interactions.
• Reliability in completing assigned duties within set timeframes.

Required skills
