Data & Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Data & Reporting Analyst will support accurate, timely business reporting across the Craig Mostyn Group. Working with stakeholders, IT and project teams, you will transform data into actionable insights that drive operational and financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing Power BI reports, dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Develop new reports and analytical solutions to support decision‑making and meet business requirements.
• Respond to reporting requests, investigate data queries and collaborate with users to understand priorities.
• Create and maintain SQL queries, views and data extraction processes for reporting and analytics.
• Support data validation, documentation, data‑quality improvements and governance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data accessibility.
• Build knowledge in Microsoft Fabric and contribute to future data‑warehouse and analytics projects.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of accounting or financial processes and operational reporting.
• Demonstrated Power BI expertise, including data modelling and visualisation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing competing priorities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
