Data Analyst

About the role

Join HUB24’s Data Strategy & Analytics team to turn complex data into practical insights that support better decisions across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders from Finance, Risk, Product, Operations, Technology and Distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, transform, validate and analyse data from internal and external sources.
• Build and maintain analytical data assets and data models for reporting, dashboards and automation.
• Develop clear dashboards, reports, visualisations and presentations that support business decisions.
• Use SQL, Python and relevant analytics tools to automate analysis and improve delivery efficiency.
• Apply statistical methods to identify trends, explain performance and solve business problems.
• Support advanced analytics and machine learning activities where appropriate.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, clarify requirements and prioritise analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineering, development and visualisation teams to deliver end‑to‑end analytics outcomes.
• Contribute to data quality, validation, governance and secure data‑handling practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Practical programming experience in SQL and Python.
• Strong analytical, design and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to translate business questions into clear, practical analytics solutions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Structured approach, attention to detail and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Experience in financial services or data analytics consulting is a plus.
